A LITTLE ABOUT ME
James Harper (AKA Superman of Home Financing) is the Branch Manager and Sr. Loan Officer for The Harper Team at Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation.
James graduated from GMI Engineering and Management Institute in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Over the years, he has been involved in developing products, managing large-scale manufacturing programs, and overseeing large capital projects. In 2008, James accepted a new challenge and transcended into the mortgage industry to work more directly with the end user, the consumer. His creativity to solve problems and have a never give up attitude launched his career quickly during one of the most difficult times the mortgage industry has have seen - the 2008 mortgage crisis. Since entering the industry, James quickly worked to acquire his own branch from the basement of his home and did so in 2009. He prides himself on work ethic, motivation to succeed, and willingness to help others be in a better financial position.
